Becoming a Director requires time, attention, and dedication to our mission of protecting and promoting Lake Koronis. If you are interested in becoming a director, look over the timeline below and read up on the expectations and responsibilities of a director.

This is the minimum expected of a board director and an approximate time commitment.
Being a board director is an incredible volunteer opportunity, but there is also a lot of responsibility. After being elected, every board director fills out this expectation form to make sure every duty is taken care of!
Everyone volunteering to be a director should be passionate about our mission and KLA! We want to continue to foster that passion and help their individual goals. This is a goal planning sheet to help turn them from ideas into actionable steps.

The President and Vice-President are elected at the meeting following the Annual Meeting. Terms are 3 years long, but these positions are re-elected annually.
Check in with the current President and Vice-President to see what their future plans are and if they would discuss what the roles entail. The responsibilities of the executive officers may fluctuate from person to person, but this will help you get a better idea!
